William Richardson was born in Zanesville,
Ohio and majored in electronics in college but was always fascinated
with art. He says of his art, “I have a real need to express
the love and beauty of God’s creation. To let the spirit of
God move my hand to show the glory of His love to others through
my artwork is my inspiration. My ultimate goal is to win the
souls of as many as possible to the idea of a loving God and
hopefully fill a few hearts with the love that He gave to me
to share with others.” Will has worked for the U.S. military
in Germany, in the electronics industry as technician, and in
a pottery factory. He lived in an art community in Cedar City,
Utah where he hung out with local art college students and learned
to do various pieces, usually portraits and landscapes. Will
joined the Downtown Art Project on the day of its inception,
January 8, 2001. He currently lives at his campsite in downtown
San Jose. |
